| June 14, 2017

Lebanese fashion designer, Zuhair Murad was born in 1971 to a catholic family in Ras Baalbek in Lebanon. Since his childhood he was interested in dress designing and always dreamt of evading to a world of fantasy and he started sketching the dresses at the age of ten. In 1997,

he opened his first atelier in Beirut and he presented his couture collection for the first time during the Haute Couture Week in Paris in 2001, gaining momentum with international media.

Zuhair Murad has marked his presence internationally as well as among Hollywood stars and he has become a favorite red carpet event for celebs and other famous people.

Zuhair Murad’s lavish creations in sensational colors and high quality garments are reminiscent of Egyptian princesses, Grecian goddesses and pure glorious splendor complete with an edgy twist that modernizes his collections.

Zuhair Murad not only designs dresses for Middle Eastern women but he aims to focus on the global of a woman beautiful and glamorous. Zuhair Murad showcased his spring/summer collection 2017 at Couture Fashion Week; let’s talk about his enthralling collection.

Zuhair Murad was inspired by a pyrotechnics display in Japan for his couture collection which he released in crystal-studded chromatic bursts. The designer kicked off with a metallic lace mini dress with a raised ruffle in front, dramatically framing the face.

There were fireworks at his show; they rained over dresses in bursts of embroidery, shot upward from tulle shoulder ruffles, shimmer in red crystals and shone from the top of bride’s tiara. The famous Miyajima Water Fireworks Festival provided endless embellishment possibilities for the brand’s founder and designer who aimed to capture colors and effects alike.

Zuhair Murad could have devoted even more of the collections to this conceit, the classically feminine constructions proved a pleasing foil for the excessive embellishments.

Look at this picture, plum color ball gown is looking amazing and outstanding designed without sleeves with plunging neckline;  the lower skirt is designed in organza fabric with ruffle designing and same color embellishments. Consider this dress with high bun hairstyle and people definitely would forget to blink their eyes.

Sheath style dress is made in classic black color sheer chiffon fabric with long fitted sleeves and boat neckline. The entire dress is detailed with same black color embellishments. This wonderful dress is perfect for those stylish girls who want to show off their body and want a sexier look for a night party.
